Every payment you make on Jooble is backed by a document confirming it. Which document you get, and when, depends on whether you pay for a flat-fee subscription plan or use the balance top-up (pay-as-you-go) model, and how you paid. Here's a breakdown of each case.
If You Pay for a Subscription Plan (Standard or Premium)
You receive a transaction confirmation email immediately after paying. A formal invoice follows, sent to the email address in your payment profile within 5–7 business days of your payment.
If you don't receive your invoice within that window, let us know so we can check on our side.
If You Use the Balance Top-Up Model
Topping up your balance for pay-as-you-go job postings involves a few different documents, generated at different points in the process.
Tax Invoice (When You Top Up Your Balance)
As soon as you top up the balance on your Jooble account, you receive a Tax Invoice. This confirms your transaction and serves as proof of payment.
Invoice – Proforma (For Bank Transfer)
Right after you select Top up balance and fill in your payment details, an Invoice – Proforma is generated. This is what you use to pay your balance via bank transfer.
Payment Confirmation Email (After Card Payment)
As soon as a card payment succeeds, you receive a payment confirmation email. It confirms the funds were deducted from your card and that you've successfully topped up your balance.
Monthly Invoices and Statements for Service Usage
Every month, we send you an invoice or statement detailing your actual spend from the previous month, based on the services you used. Here's how that works in practice:
Say you top up your balance with €100 and receive a receipt for that amount. During the month, you spend €20, leaving €80 in your account. In the first week of the following month, we email a document to the address in your payment information showing your €20 in expenses from the previous month. This document is generated automatically and sent within 1–10 business days.
This repeats every month until your balance runs out. For example, if you spend €20 in the first month, €55 in the second, and €5 in the third, you'll receive three separate documents, one for each month's expenses.
Which Currency Will My Documents Be In?
Your invoices and statements are issued in the currency tied to your payment profile, which typically matches your country's payment terms — for example, euros, US dollars, or another national currency.
Make Sure Your Payment Details Are Correct
Only the details saved in your payment information at the time of payment are used on these documents — including your company name, address, and VAT number if you're a legal person. If any of these change, update your payment information beforehand so future documents stay accurate. See How Do I Update My Payment Information?.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What's the difference between the Invoice – Proforma and the Tax Invoice?
The Proforma is what you use to make a bank transfer. The Tax Invoice confirms the transaction once your balance is actually topped up.
- Why did I receive several separate monthly statements instead of one?
You receive one statement per month of actual usage, not one per top-up. If you were active for three months, you'll get three statements.
- I haven't received a document I was expecting. What should I do?
Contact our support team with the email address used for payment, and we'll check on our side.
- Can a document be corrected after it's issued?
Update your payment information first, then contact support — documents already issued reflect the details on file at the time of payment and generally can't be edited retroactively.
