Jooble allows you to narrow your job search by location to find vacancies in the area that suits you best. You can enter a wide range of location types directly in the search field.

Supported Location Types

When searching for jobs on Jooble, you can use any of the following official administrative and territorial entities as your location:

  1. State or region
  2. City
  3. Village
  4. Locality
  5. Street
  6. Subway station

Simply start typing your location in the search field and select it from the drop-down list that appears.

Searching for Remote or Abroad Jobs

If you are looking for jobs that do not require a fixed location, you can type the following terms directly in the location field:

  • Remote — to find vacancies available for remote work.
  • Abroad — to find vacancies posted for work outside your home country.

These options allow you to search for flexible work arrangements regardless of your physical location.

Why My Location Isn't Showing?

If you typed a location but it did not appear in the drop-down list, there are two possible reasons:

  • The location is not in Jooble's database — Jooble uses its own internal database of administrative and territorial entities. Not every address or settlement may be included.
  • No vacancies are available in that location — even if the location exists in our database, it may not appear if there are currently no active job listings there.

In this case, try searching with a broader location — for example, the nearest city or the region instead of a specific village or street.
