Follow these rules to optimize your Job Alerts and receive only the most relevant job offers directly in your inbox. Setting up a subscription is the most effective way to stay updated on the latest vacancies that match your criteria.

How to Set Up a Subscription

The process of activating job alerts depends on whether you are logged into your Jooble account.

If You Are Not Logged In

Before creating a new subscription, we recommend making a few different search queries to identify which ones yield the most relevant results. Once you find the perfect combination of keywords and location:

  • Locate the "Get new jobs by email" toggle on the search results page.
  • Manually switch it on to activate your alert.

If You Are a Logged-in User

For registered users, the process is automated. Every time you perform a new search query, a subscription for that specific keyword and region is created automatically.

  • The toggle is activated by default, so you do not need to click it manually to subscribe.
  • If you do not wish to receive emails for a specific search, simply tap the toggle to turn it off.

Tips for Better Search Results

Be Specific with Job Titles

In the "I'm looking for jobs…" field, specify only the position title (e.g., "Truck Driver"). Avoid adding extra information like desired salary or region names here, as this can interfere with the search algorithm's accuracy.

Use Location Filters Effectively

  • Specific Locations: Enter one particular location (city, town, or settlement) in the "In the region…" field.
  • Multiple Locations: To monitor jobs in several cities simultaneously, create separate subscriptions for each location.
  • Remote & Abroad: For remote work, enter "Remote" in the region field. For international opportunities, use "Abroad".
  • Market Overview: To get a general overview of the labor market, use the word "Jobs" as your keyword to receive a variety of offers from different regions.

Why Your Results May Vary

Please note that the set of jobs you receive depends on several dynamic factors:

  • Your current search parameters (job title, region, and filters).
  • Personalized activity, including previous searches, clicks, and browsing history.
  • Real-time job availability in the chosen region (the algorithm offers alternatives if no direct matches exist).
